I wonder if Majerus is pro-pick and roll, because the Church has a long and distinguished history of eschewing that kind of basketball for a more “inside-outside” style, where a talented post player draws a double team and then kicks out to a sharpshooting guard for the open 3. It’s under the doctrine of “drive-draw-and dish”, about which St. Thomas Aquinas writes so eloquently and forcefully in the Summa Theologica.
